I tried latisse...one night only. My eyes felt funny number one(it's a glaucoma medication). Two my eyes and lids were red. This can be permanent (the discoloration). Before you try this medication make sure you know what the damage possiblities are. As bad as I want long eyelashes it's not worth it.

@lambo9322 Oh, no. Lasers are great! I just think being realistic about the treatments and the aftermath is the best approach. PWS = Port Wine Stain birthmark. Many people don't realize that they are caused by overly large capillaries. It isn't a skin pigment. The lasers have to go below the skin and blast the capillaries. Some are deeper than others, hence the varying intensities.

@conguera Oh u need "Touch-up" that suks. I have a very pale complexion anyways so i dnt think i could get any lighter but so far ive heard nothing but positive stories from lasers thats y i wondered y u seemed to not like them. I just want the redness to go dissipate and this laser is designed to target broken capillaries and blood vessels so i hope it all goes well. What exactly is "PWS" ill have to ask about the different intensities as i didnt even kno this specific laser had them.

@lambo9322 You had a very different treatment from mine, and I have no experience with your problem. There are different types of lasers, with different intensities. Those used for PWS go deep enough to explode small blood vessels, leaving the affected area swollen and covered with dark spots, which gradually fade. I got quite a bit of lightening from the 4 treatments, but PWS always comes back eventually, and you need occasional touchups. That's probably not the case with acne scars.

@lambo9322 I've had 4 for facial PWS, a vascular abnormality (an ACTUAL problem). The first was without a topical anesthetic and was extremely painful. One or two zaps are tolerable; 70-80 overwhelm the system's ability to cope. The other 3 treatments were with a topical anesthetic, so they were no problem. Perhaps that's what you had, or maybe your procedure was more superficial. Recovery takes 7-10 days. The first few days, you look as though you've been beaten beyond recognition.

@conguera I had my first laser treatment weeks ago and the pain is COMPLETELY TOLLERABLE. If u have ACTUAL problems and would like them to be removed with the laser then by all means the very very slight DISCOMFORT is well worth it.

Forgive me, but it's unrealistic to say that laser treatments are painless. They are quite painful, unless you use a numbing cream. Recovery is also quite an ordeal.
